Mrs. Janice Barbeau

| Janice was born in Latrobe,
PA. She enlisted in the United States Army in August of 1984. Upon
completing Basic Training and AIT, she was assigned to the 7th Army
Training Command, Combined Arms Training Center in Vilseck, Germany. She has completed Primary Leadership Development Course and Basic Noncommissioned Officer course. Her major assignments include two tours in Germany, one in Korea, six years with the White House Communications Agency and 3 years as Administrative NCO at the University of Maine Army ROTC. Her awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Accommodation Medal, Army Commendation Medal with 3 oak leaf clusters, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal with 3 oak leaf clusters, and the Presidential Service Badge. She retired 1 Sep 04 as a Staff Sergeant after 20 years active duty and this is her first assignment as a DA Civilian. |
