At the University of Maine, we have a band for every ability and interest level. Our Sports Band Program, including the Pride of Maine Marching Band and the Screamin' Black Bear Pep Band as well as the Concert Band are open to all students and have no auditions. Our Symphonic Band, directed by Curvin Farnham, is an auditioned band made up of students from all parts of campus. The Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Karel Lidral, is also an auditioned group made up of students from all parts of campus. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
