For this project, the AEWC Center applied Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) to 30 glulam beams, 24 of which will be used as the main carrying girders for the aqueduct. Each beam measures 23' long, 21" deep and 5" wide. Each beam received 15 layes of FRP, providing approximately 1/2" of reinforcement. Six beams were retained at the Center for testing.  Constructed in 2001.
