The Waldoboro Railroad Crossing Print E-mail

The existing Waldoboro Railroad Crossing was reconstructed to include Fiber-Reinforced-Polymer (FRP)-reinforced wood railroad ties. The project goals are to reduce maintenance costs and protect and strengthen the wood. Research for this project is underway.
