The Ruggles Bridge Existing Bridge to be Modified 

This project will involve installation of Fiber-Reinforced-Polymer (FRP) downspout extensions on bridge drains.

The goals of the project are to demonstrate the feasibility of FRP pipes and eliminate galvanized steel pipe, which is prone to deterioration.
