The Target Technology Center and Foster Center for Student Innovation are seeking a graduate assistant to work with Maine companies and entrepreneurs. Students will collect information about companies, their innovations, products and markets to use online tools that evaluate the business concept and create sales forecasts. Students will also take part in business counseling sessions both on campus and with community members.
Students will be asked to help out with events as their schedule allows and other administrative duties as assigned. Ideally, students will have an interest and expertise in market research. Interested students should send a resume and cover letter to Jesse Moriarity, jesse.moriarity@maine.edu
The position is available for the spring semester and may continue, depending on funding availability. The position is primarily based at the Target Technology Center located at 20 Godfrey Drive in Orono. There will be some hours at the Foster Center for Student Innovation on campus as well.
