The highways in town include 3.86 miles of state highway (Rte 161), 3.64 miles of state aid road, and 10.79 miles of twon road for a total
of 18.29 miles. The state highway is maintained by the state and the state aid roads receive summer maintenance from the state. All state aid
roads are paved.

There is no public bus service in town except for Aroostook Regional Task Force of Older Citizens mini-bus. The Bangor and Aroostook Railroad provides
freight services at Fort kent but it's track does not go through New Canada.
