What happens if I don't report?

If you knowingly fail to report a situation where you have reasonable cause to suspect adult abuse, neglect, or exploitation, you will be committing a civil violation for which you may be prosecuted and fined up to $500.

You may also be reported to your licensing board for possible sanctions.
