If you have attended a University of Maine basketball or hockey game you could not have helped but notice the Scremin' Black Bears Pep Band. Under the direction of Christopher White the band has traveled to various locations across the nation to entertain the fans and cheer on University of Maine teams as they have competed in playoffs for conference, regional, and national titles. To see where the band has traveled click here. In 2004 the traveled to Missoula, Montana to the women's basketball regional tournament and to Albany and Boston to support the men's ice hockey team in their competition to play for the national title.
