On October 13, 2002 in Campinas and October 14 in Rio de Janeiro, Dr. Stuart Marrs participated as a soloist and clinician for the Brazil Day of Percussion, Brazil PAS Chapter President Fernando Hashimoto, host. (Front, right in photo.)

Marrs delivered two clinics at the Campinas (UNICAMP) site: one on percussion accessories -- cymbals, tambourine, and triangle; and one on timpani.

Dr. Marrs performed as solo timpanist in the Beck Concerto for Timpani and Percussion Ensemble accompanied by GRUPU - Grupo de Percussão da UNICAMP under the able direction of Prof. Fernando Hashimoto.
