Welcome to the Howard Patterson Research Group

Our group consists of two (2) post doctoral research associates, eight (8) graduate students, and several undergraduates. Members of our group come from different departments all over campus, and Prof. Patterson have served as advisors for students who get their Master's or Ph.D. degrees in chemistry, physics, biochemistry, ecology and environmental science, mechanical engineering, and forest resources. The main theme that ties all of our research together is luminescence spectroscopy.
