The Eugene A. Mawhinney Award, named after Professor Emeritus Mawhinney, is awarded annually to the graduating political science major with the highest cumulative grade point average.
The Edward Collins, Jr. Award, named after Professor Emeritus Collins, is awarded annually to the graduating political science/international affairs major with the highest cumulative grade point average.
Tibor J. Bebek Memorial Scholarship - awarded annually on the basis of merit to one or more students involved in the study of political theory
John Helmke Memorial Scholarship - awarded annually on the basis of performance and financial need to one student in political science
Judith Grant Memorial Scholarship - awarded annually on the basis of merit to one or more students who plan to attend law school after finishing their undergraduate degree
Graton Constitutional Essay Contest - awarded annually on the basis of written essays on an announced topic in the area of American law. Three monetary awards are available; a selection committee decides whether to award no or as many as three prizes in any given year.
