to the Maine Alpha Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon at the University of Maine, located in Orono, Maine. Recently chartered in May of 2002, Maine Alpha set the national record for being the fastest chapter to earn its charter in SigEp History. Maine Alpha is also proud to be a leader among the Greeks at UMaine, being first in Academics, placing highly in intramural sports, and earning the majority of awards presented to Greek Organizations, including 'Fraternity of the Year 2003 and 2005'. Maine Alpha lives by the meaning of the Balanced Man Program, having brothers who are Varsity Athletes, Student Senators, Student Orientation Leaders, Senior Skulls, and Sophomore Owls. In addition, all of our brothers belong to at least one other campus organization.
