Blueberry Cove summer camp

Right by the water in Tenants Harbor, Blueberry Cove is a beautiful coastal setting for summer camp providing tide flats, forests, meadows, gardens, and a harbor and islands to explore.

Campers spend their days learning about the ocean, singing silly songs, playing in the forest, making musical instruments, getting messy with art and much more.

Emphasis is placed on community living and sustainable agriculture with campers working in and snacking from the ½ acre organic veggie garden.

Acquired by Tanglewood in 2005 with the generous support of over 200 donors, the property was in disrepair and in need of much renovation. Considerable support came from Tenants Harbor neighbors of the camp who wanted to see the land, with two beaches and 1,400 feet of shorefront, protected from development and preserved as an affordable children's camp. Today Blueberry Cove is host to a variety of exciting summer camp programs and is filled with children's laughter.
