TRiO Days Information

The TRIO is made up of educational programs such as Upward Bound, Regional Math/Science Upward Bound, Talent Search, Student Support Services, and other educational services. TRIO Day is a time to learn more about yourself and your college options, as well as to rally for Congressional support of our programs. It is also an occasion to meet students, like yourself, from other New England TRIO programs. While the schedule is tentative, we can tell you that we will be leaving early in the morning on Thursday, February 21 and returning in the evening on Friday, February 22 for the Upward Bound reunion. You can be picked up at Chadbourne Hall or the Newport Dunkin' Donuts. Please contact Kelly or Rusty if you are a Math-Science junior who would like to attend to arrange travel. TRIO Day events will include college tours; guest speakers; college fair; and a TRIO dance party. Students who participated in the past said they benefited greatly by the celebration AND they had a great time.
